DRYCLEANING FOR VINTAGE:
SMARTYPANTS – Dry Cleaners – Bethnal Green Road 222, ph 07986699369
These cleaners specialise in vintage dry cleaning – so if you have some prized vintage clothing and you are afraid to take a chance with your local people – maybe try Smartypants – they do all drycleaning for the vintage shops on Brick Lane and they are also The Tassel Club’s chosen cleaners.
Tips for buying vintage: Never hang vintage on metal hangers – use padded hangers to spread he weight of the garment. It your item is particularly delicate, wrap in acid free tissue and store flat. Store out of direct sunlight! Don’t store near radiators – it dries out fabrics. Please add your comments and shopping suggestions to this page! Here are a few of ours….
